AHIA seeks applicants for the position of editor-in-chief of its flagship journals

AHIA is seeking a new editor-in-chief for New Perspectives and NP Digital Insights.

This is a paid, contract position responsible for providing the highest quality journals for AHIA. We invite qualified contractors to submit your resume along with a letter of application.

Application Process 

Interested individuals should prepare and submit an application via e-mail. The application must include the following:

  • Letter of Application that describes your qualifications for the role of editor-in-chief of AHIA. It should describe any past experience as an editor or member of an editorial team, applicable skills that align with the below outlined duties, responsibilities and qualifications addressing the ability to manage deadlines and to attract and retain contributing authors.
  • Vision Statement that provides a clear description of your vision for AHIA journals under your leadership. The statement should set forth your goals and plans for the content of the Journal and how you will operationalize your plan.
  • Resume that accurately portrays your experience, including your current affiliations. Please list your current contact information.
  • References may include a letter of support or other documentation describing responsibilities and expertise. Applications will be reviewed by the Search Committee, and interviews will be conducted by phone. The selected candidate must disclose any potential conflicts of interest prior to appointment and annually thereafter for the contract term.
